Ruellia brittonia Mexican Petunia - herbaceous perennial plant with bright purple flowers and deep green leaves on purple stems about 3 feet tall. Native to Mexico and the Southwestern US but has naturalized in the Southeast. Prefers rich moist soil in full sun. Tolerates drought periods and will rebound once water is again available. Prolific spreader. Grows well in containers. Lovely near a pond or stream. Gallon plant without pot. Price includes delivery.
