Erythronium dens canis, Dog Tooth Violet, Trout Lily, Fawn Lily - woodland plant that requires moisture retentive, fertile soil. Native to the western US--a must for a native plant garden. Beautiful blooms: 6-petaled, wide-open, recurved, elegant, lily-like flowers on tall stems with decorative, attractive variegated or mottled foliage. Bulbs are shaped like dog teeth.
Prefers shady woodland conditions. Available in Fall only. Ships as Set of 3 bulbs.
